I first contacted Mike Rodden Contracting located in Broomall, PA in February 2018 for a complete roof replacement. The owner, Mike Rodden, visited my home within a few days to assess the job and provide a quote. About one month later he was hired and we both signed his contract requiring a 50% deposit. Despite my $8,000 deposit three months ago, no start date has been volunteered and instead excuses were made that delays were caused by the weather. It has been three months since signing a contract and paying a down payment to Mike Rodden and no work has begun despite constant attempts to contact him by phone and text. Legal action remains as my only unfortunate remaining option.

We met Mike Rodden through a neighbor in the middle of a roof repair. We needed roofing repairs done also and asked him to quote us a price. He gave us a website https://amdgcontracting.wordpress.com/mike-rodden, however we later found out he is no longer affiliated with that company. He brought sample materials, and drew out a very detailed plan for our roof repair - he quoted $16,000 and wanted an $8,000 deposit. Months later after excuses for weather etc, we have lost complete contact and are unable to reach him. We lost $8,000. Currently working with the Philadelphia Police Department to resolve. Definitely do NOT do business with this man, he is a scam artist.
