I hide Mike Short Landscaping in the summer of 2012 for a complete front and back Landscaping jub to the tune of $17,000.00. While expensive, the work perform was very up to par for the price...until the end. That's when corners were cut and once he was paid in full, if there's any problems, apparently you can forget counting on him. Take the money and run I guess. 1st - I had a lot of decorative rock installed with juniper evergreens planted through out, the intention being that the junipers would eventually cover the rock. Well - it's going to take a good 5 to 10 years for that to happen and in the mean time one is supposed to enjoy the rock. When the junipers were planted the dirt from each hole was just thrown in a pile on top of the rocks. Not only is it unsightly, it's a weed magnet. 2nd - 50% of the fruit tress that he planted died well within the one year contractors warranty period, as well as several of the junipers...Mike has refused all attempts at communication, both by phone and email and my next step unfortunately will have to be the legal route. It's very unfortunate, but I complained about these issues in May of 2013 and here it's October, with zero satisfaction. I will go out of my way to dis - recommend him for future work in our community of Redding, Calif.

Mike was great at first, but after he got paid i cant get him to call me back with some issues he said he would fix. very frustrating and i would not recommend him to anyone
