This is the worst company you can deal with. they came over and after reviewing the permit drawings, gave us a bid for the roof on a new construction, at $5000, but two months later, when they showed up to do the job, they claimed they claimed the roof was twice as big as they saw on the drawings (mind you, these were permit drawings and no changes were made to the drawings). Then they asked for $11,000. when I told them we have a contract, they said the bid was only signed by me, and not by the owner of the company, and the bid was more than 30 days ago. They then walked off the job, hoping to hold my construction hostage. I will start legal actions against them, but with the rainy season starting, I have to find another roofer fast. save yourself all the hassle and don't even bother with this scamming team.

By Ardith M.July 16, 2020re-roof house & build a patio cover
They did an excellent job re-roofing my home & installing a patio cover in the back. They were prompt, got the back half done the first day and the front half the next. The weather forecast was clear & sunny and it ended up pouring down on the poor crew, but not before they got the sheeting down so nothing got wet and they worked right through the downpour to get the shingles on. They did an excellent job designing the patio cover the way I wanted it and it is fantastic. Their prices were reasonable, the work is top notch and they were easy to work with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Had Mike roofing replace my roof in 2020. In 2024 I was selling my home and after the inspection was done, I found out my attic was covered in mold from faulty roof installation. The inspector said the roof needed to be treated for mold and then completely removed including all the plywood and some upper rafters due to leakage. The inspector said this was the worst mold in an attic he has ever seen. I called Mikes roofing twice and left messages I needed to talk to them. They have not returned my calls. We're now looking at other avenues. Save yourself a headache and use someone else.
