We hired this contractor 2 months prior to the pandemic hitting giving him a $10,000 deposit, the city has extended all permits due the pandemic, i contacted this contractor and spoke with Anthony yesterday and he replied it's been 647 days since signing contract therefore he would have to rebid/quote the job, materials have increased, reinstate permit and pay any fees or fines, i replied i understand no problem, and also let him know there was no fines as permit has been extended due to pandemic, then today he calls and says we also will lose our $10,000 deposit, i've contacted BBB and the state licensing board and will work on getting an attorney so this doesn't happen to any other business
