Update 2/19/25: After back and forth with my father in law we were told that they will be putting insulation around the unit. This will not remedy the problem but I guess they figure out of sight out of mind. I am attaching pictures of what my unit now looks like (only a few months old) and will be having a company come remediate the mold that is now not only out there but on my ceiling in my home. Please be careful dealing with this company. I am a veteran, work for the school system and my husband is a firefighter. We don’t have the resources to buy a new system and this company has taken advantage of us.
Update: I have called and left multiple messages with the front desk with no response. I have not received a single call as they tried to state below and now there is mold everywhere. Avoid this place at all costs.
I had a system installed by this company and they have since given me the run around. My new system is only a few months old and there is rust all over the handler. I have tried for weeks to get an answer and no luck. I have mold on the part that connects to my home and can only imagine the mold growing in my vents. I have a newer home that unfortunately needed a new system. I trusted this company and now have water leaking in my garage, mold on my walls and duct, and rust on a new system due to the system always having condensation on it and this company not responding. I was taken advantage of. The new solution is to wrap the handler in duct board I guess so I don’t see the damage. I am going to be out the money invested and will need to have a mold remediation specialist come out and a new system installed. I work for the school system and do not have a lot of money to spend on a new system but will have to in order to get through the next Summer! Stay FAR away!
