Edward B. Mintz
Do not contract with Mintz Enterprises for anything, especially to build a house! Eddie Mintz uses unfair and deceptive practices, claiming to be a general contractor and an experienced independent homebuilder.
Mr. Mintz is a habitual liar who always has excuses to cover up where the money went, why he did not pay someone, why he did not order something, did not do something etc. He blames other people for his shortcomings, lack of follow-up, and steals money from one job to do another! Mr. Mintz apparently has a good talk game, because he continues to get people like me to sign contracts with him.
He has at least four houses that he is building and all of them (including mine are unfinished) and the homeowners are very unhappy. I am putting this information out into the universe to warn people because I wish I would have known what I know now. I have emails, dates, receipts, and subcontractor contact information to verify everything that I say. If you want to see it for yourself go to 1315 Dockery Dr., Shelby NC 28152.
