    Removed my old shower - enlarged the area and made a custom tiled shower. New shower door and all new black shower fixtures too. I LOVE IT!!!!

    Mione Family Remodeling built my sun room addition back in 2006. I've used them for every project since and will continue to do so. A few months ago they removed the sun room carpet and installed new flooring. I highly recommend!!

    They started out great and quickly went down hill. The biggest issues where lack of attention to detail and no accountability. One example was that the wrong items were delivered to our house. These items sat in our garage for at least a month and were never double checked for accuracy. It was not until they needed it that the error was realized, this put the project far behind schedule. While I can accept that mistakes happen, when we called and spoke with them it was not their fault and they refused to take ownership (that they should have checked ahead of time).
    To add insult to injury, while they ran late on the project they were frequently asking for payment before the contract required it.
    Bottom line is that we used them to manage the project, we were very unhappy.

    Unfortunately you can't keep everyone happy all the time. The supervisor that handled this project is no longer with the company, because of situations like this one, and I have no excuse for it. I intervened at the tail end to get the project done and keep the customer happy, but that didn't work out anyway. We do know the lady the addition was built for was very happy, and the homeowners are happy with the end result (even though it doesn't say anything about the final result in the paragraph above). Yes, it took longer than it should have, and there were a few payments that were asked for ahead of time, this stuff happens. Ultimately the job turned out beautiful, very functional, and the lady who actually paid the bill is happy with how it all turned out. Some people you just can't make happy, no matter what you do. Like both of our foreman say " we bent over backwards for these people" and this is the thanks we get for that! Sometimes the customers are wrong and impossible to deal with. Christopher J. Mione

    We have hired Mione four times for projects on our current and prior homes. Until recently, the work was fine. Mione gets a two star rating only because of the prior satisfactory projects. In 2017, Chris Mione did not honor the terms of his contract regarding the total removal of all siding and trim as well as expansion joint installation where the manufactured stone walls meet the vinyl siding, walls, and doors. On this $60,000+ project, Mione sent employees that cracked the mortar and damaged multiple materials around the doors and windows while attempting to install expansion joints. He also used siding subcontractors that merely repeated the incorrect face nailing and caulking problems that Mione was hired to remove. The Mione-installed siding is also warped, uneven, caulked, face-nailed, and falling off the house. Chris Mione insists that it is installed correctly.
