Mirage Pools
Mirage Pools is a family-owned business with 3 generations and over 50 years of experience in building gunite pools. Unlike most companies that utilize subcontractor services to complete phases of the construction, Mirage Pools builds the entire pool with full-time company employees.
Mirage Pools has achieved the distinction of becoming Atlanta’s premier gunite pool builder. Our reputation is synonymous with quality and integrity. Since 1986, Mirage Pools has been winning the praise of its customers. We have a referral list that is unsurpassed in the industry. We understand that a satisfied customer is a referral, and referrals are the basis of growing our business. We strive to make every pool a referral.
Imagine taking a swim, relaxing in the spa, or just catching some rays in your own backyard pool! There’s no debating the fact that a dip in a pool on a hot day can be the closest thing to paradise.
With your swimming pool, any occasion becomes a special event. Think of the possibilities – parties, family gatherings and quiet interludes. What better place for your kids than home in your own family pool! Your Mirage Pool will provide you with everything you need to turn your backyard into a new world of recreation and family fun.
When making a decision on the company that will deliver your pool, ask yourself what kind of relationship you would like to have with your pool builder long after your pool is completed. Only Mirage Pools provides the additional service and warranties to handle your maintenance needs.

Owner, Norman Urrutia of shell company "Mirage Pools" took our 64k and left us with a concrete hole and our backyard was a complete mud pit. We will spend thousands to sue him and will recover nothing because he moved all his assets prior. Coincidence? I don't think so. The man has a history of doing this in multi states. Buyer beware and do research on who owns these pool companies!

By AnonymousApril 14, 2017Remodel existing poolBEWARE Of This Company!!!!
Hired Mirage Pool June 10, 2016. Work still not complete as of April 14, 2017. Nothing but constant LIES!!!!!! The little amount of work that has been done is very poor quality. They definitely are committing fraud and taking peoples money without doing the work contracted to do.

Mirage put in my pool a year ago. Rust spots keep popping up on the sides and bottom of the pool because of bits of metal in the pebble product are rusting. Mirage uses C.L. Industries for their pebble. I was told by Mirage I wasn't the only one this had happened to. Neither C.L. Industries or Mirage seems apologetic surprisingly & these rust stains looks to be an ongoing problem I will have to deal with in the future. At the end of the 2 week pebble curing process brown lines appeared on the bottom of the pool that looks to be dirt that cured in. (I had my water tested and it's not a problem with metals in my county water.) Mirage told me they would chemically burn the pool to remove the stains. It's been over a year & I'm still waiting. I also have 4 unsightly cracks in the concrete decking of the pool that appeared after 2 weeks of the concrete being poured. Mirage came out & tried to "patch" them using a charcoal/black mixture that looks awful against the light gray concrete. The patches also didn't work. Cracks resurfaced. Now, I have cracks & a bad patch job. Mirage has promised for a year to cover the unsightly mess with a Kool Deck application. Year later I am still waiting. Oct. 31st this year, Mirage's General Manager came out to look at the pool & promised to take care of these problems within 2 weeks. Didn't happen & they won't respond now. Looking in to a class action at this point since I'm not the only one whose had problems with them.

Worst experience of my life! We could have finished this pool faster had we hand dug the hole ourselves! They lie, they change what you wanted to what THEY want. They claim to have 50 years experience, but founded in 2010? Ok? Customer service is nonexistent and Connie is rude and very condescending. Chris is the only legit person who works for this company. And they actually took him off our project. Joy! We are on day 134. It's a gorgeous day here in GA, and where are the Mirage pool guys? Nowhere to be found. Surprise surprise. Things we wanted were changed, things we wanted put in certain places, weren't honored. Very unreliable and I honestly don't know how they stay in business.

Many years ago, back in 1998, when internet was not friendly, and we did not know how to find reviews, we had a very deceiving experience with this company. They took our deposit 2K, and when the permits were denied by the county, we did not see one cent back. We went to court, the judge rule against the company, but we were not able to collect that money back. After reading the reviews in this page, I am surprised that this guy Norman Urrutia is still in the business of scamming people. I thought I have lost a lot, but in a way, it was better to loose 2K than to go through the nightmares or even loose 64K like the user in Dacula. This company should have been out of business many years ago.
