My family was thrilled with our experience with mission homes! They built our dream home and we couldn’t be happier!

    New home purchase
    $2,050,000

Purchasing our Lake Oswego house from Mission Homes has been one of the best decisions our family has ever made. Andy and Cory get our highest marks for 1) quality of work, 2) communication 3) and professionalism.

Not only was the house smartly designed, itincluded all the new cutting edge technology and they took the time to show us how to use and best maintain it going forward. As we have an 18 month toddler, they also went out of their way to install a screen over the fireplace after closing. We truly feel like they are our partners in this home ownership journey.

Rest assured you are in good hands working with Mission Homes!

    Build a house

I've bought several new homes and I have to say Mission Homes is by far one of the better built homes. They put some much into their homes. Most builders want to get you with all their upgrades. The model homes look amazing, however almost everything is an upgrade or its a "designer option" which you cant even buy. Mission Homes include so many things that other builders want say is an upgrade, then if you do want their upgrades they charge you an arm and leg for the upgrade, Not at Mission Homes most things are included.

We find the design and quality in the Mission Homes new project in Lake Oswego to be excellent. I have worked with Kurt and the whole team at Mission Homes for decades, and find the remarks on this website to be very surprising. The design and quality of the new homes at Mission Commons are excellent. The work that Mission did communicating and working with the City and the neighbors was extremely helpful in developing the project. I guess after building a couple thousand homes you will have some negative comments, but this thread is not representative of Mission Homes and their many raving fans.

Wonderful home. Very high quality and you would pay more for all the standard features with other builders. They are very responsive to the clients needs and schedule quickly. Great finish work.

I would never recommend this builder to anyone. 15 months after purchase, critical home defects identified in the inspection still have not been fixed. We are unable to use and enjoy our home. They do not respond to emails, complaints on their website, nor phone calls.

Paint, framing, plumbing, HVAC, drainage. Take any aspect of the building process and they have under delivered. They are not a 500k-700k home builder with respect to quality. Polygon or D R Horton has them beat on quality.

Please knock on their previous project homes before you make the mistake of buying one of their homes.

We bought a Mission Homes NW home. We wish we read other review because we are experiencing similar headaches. Numerous construction issues were identified during home inspection. Repairs were not performed by specified time. At this price range ($600-700k), one did not get quality craftsmanship and decent customer service. Pre-closing repairs remain open weeks after closing. Major quality issues were clearly documented and communicated, but builder has not resolved issues. I would not recommend this builder unless close, professional inspection finds no issues.

Think Twice Before Choosing Mission Homes

As a current customer of a home we purchased in the $600K-700K range, we have been disappointed and would highly encourage any prospective customer to think twice about this builder. At this price range, one would expect quality materials, quality craftsmanship and exemplary customer service (before and after closing). This has not the case. In fact, we have outstanding items that need to be taken care of that should have been done prior to closing. It's been several months now and it's difficult even getting a response. Looking out our window, our neighbor still has siding that still needs to be painted due to a drainage issue. Looking back, I should have followed up further when I knocked on the doors of a few Highland neighbors and received "fair" feedback. Unfortunately, I did not and now I'm realizing why. If you are considering this builder, I highly recommend you knock on the doors of home owners in all of their developments, particularly their recent neighborhoods. This is our home...the home that we spent our life savings on and the home in which we will raise our family. If you care about your investment and want peace of mind, do your due diligence on this builder!!
