In 2011 we had MJ Turner replace our roof. In 2023 they returned to repair several daylight holes I could see in the ridge vent from my attic, so I thought. Rather than replace the shingles that were damaged, the repair was done by slapping tar over the problem areas. NOT what I was expecting to fix the issue! June of 2024, I discovered more daylight coming from my ridge vent in the same location as previous. I contacted MJ Turner and spoke with Michael who I believe is an owner. I have to say he is one of the rudest businessmen I’ve ever spoken to. His tone of voice and unprofessional behavior was arrogant! I felt he needed to know that his workers repaired the problem but did a terrible job as the tar only cracked a year and a half later. He didn’t want to listen or even agree that the job done was terrible. He claimed that he did me a favor by fixing the issue even though that part of his company is no longer in business. I would never recommend any businessman that doesn’t make good on a crappy job done by his workers. Yes, I’ve now had to have another contractor come and fix the issue which he was in his snotty voice, quick to tell me that my warranty was now void.
