Novembe/December 2020: I couldn't agree more with the above review posted in Aug. 2018. Mike, owner of MJL Builders, built me a deck (12x12), replaced windows/siding and added a sliding glasss door to an already exisiting 2nd level enclosed porch. Mike was thorough in explaining the details of my project, was easy to talk to and attentive to any questions or concerns. Due to the chilly weather and delays in material delivery, Mike was on top of it; always with plan A, B, and C, keeping lines of communication open. Mike does have the highest integrity in his work, honest and professional. I LOVE the results of my project and do highly recommend MJL Builders for any construction job you may have. Thank you MJL Builders!

MJL Builders completed a total renovation of my home in two stages. Mike of MJL Builders took great care in addressing each detail of my home renovation project. Mike is an incredible communicator and made sure I was aware of each and every aspect of the job being completed from timing, costs to expect, and the next decisions to be made. My home renovations required multiple subcontractors and Mike never left anything to chance, again, always mindful of keeping lines of communication open. I found Mike to have immense integrity in his work, to be honest, respectful and always professional. I would highly recommend MJL Builders for any construction job.

After a long evaluation of contractors we went with Mike based on his punctuality and willingness to understand our financial situation vs. the 'move in' requirements we needed for an entire basement remodel. While the situation was quite nerve racking for us, he was able to lead us through the challenges with confidence & experience. He is the type of person that cares about customer satisfaction through every step of the way answering 'newbie' questions and even dealing with our back and forth change orders. He was great through out the entire process in introducing us to subcontractors, answering questions, connecting with the city, etc. Impressed with finished product! Looking forward to working with him again on other projects!
