Where to start... this “contractor” destroyed my faith in humanity. We bought a home and needed updates before we could move in with our young children. He did shotty work if he showed up at all. I had to call in another contractor after the fact to have him fix everything this man did. He would claim he was on site working when he wasn’t. He would threaten us constantly and made the entire experience unbearable. He did not complete the work in any capacity and cost us time and money. We were homeless for months because of this man. I would NEVER hire him again. Even if he was the last contractor on EARTH.

This contractor is a fraud and a cheat; he is not qualified to do any type of work whatsoever. He took on work that was way over his head; stated that the work would be complete in three weeks, was there well over 5 months and never completed. Not only never completed, but the work was not to industry standards - it is a mess and now needs to be done by another contractor; also, he was paid in full. He agreed to repair all items in court, but did not comply. For your own protection, do not use this contractor.

MJQ Home Improvements just finished up at my house about three weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. They replaced all my windows, 17 of them, and they look amazing! Before they left I was able to have them come inside and replace six doors too and already booked them to come back for my siding and a new roof. His guys are cleancut, respectful and boy do they clean up before they leave every day! MJQ is a five star company for sure and you will be very happy with their service.

MJQ HOME IMPROVEMENTS Just finished a huge project in my house ,which include two bathrooms,foyer ,kitchen and a full bathroom. I have found him and his team first rate. Beside his estimate being right on,his crew was quiet, neat and clean. Matts design eye is great and found his ideas great . I just had MJQ in my home for a huge job in my basement. He was a consummate professional. His crew was on time every day often staying late to fix unexpected issues that arose during the job. The owner's design advice was impeccable and extremely helpful as I am not good at that sort of thing. I am so grateful to have found a contractor I can trust in my home. The job took a long time so I often needed to leave him alone in the house so I could go back to work. I am so happy with the work done by this company I have been recommending them like crazy. Made an appointment for an estimate and they never showed up. Not even a phone call to say they would not make the appointment. If they don't even make their appointments, what makes you think they would be back to do the work! I would never call this company to do any work for me!
