By Loan L.August 7, 2023Complete remodeling of our new house$173,500
These crooks will take your money and leave you with a mess that they never intend to clean up. We signed a contract back in 2021 for a complete remodeling of our new home. We were promised the projects will be done in 8 to 10 weeks. 9 months later, we have no kitchen, no bathrooms, no outdoor kitchen, no shades. MKS never paid a dime for the our kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, countertops, mirrors, shower doors, outdoor kitchen. Stay as far away from MKS Construction as you can.

By Marcia F.January 6, 2023Full house remodel$160,000
MKS started our brand new whole house project Jan 13 2022. It is now almost a year later!! We still have an estimated $75,000 of undone work, which they were paid for already. Plus, some work that was done is damaged from the installation and some of the cabinets are coming apart and faucets are actually rusted!!
Joe Richards has repeatedly promised to finish up our house months ago and then no one ever shows up! In fact our original contract stated our house would be completed in 6 weeks.
We were stuck living in a hotel based on their construction estimate for 7.5 months because our house was not livable to move in. The reason why everyone pays so much money to them upfront is because they rip out your whole house and then they threaten you that they won't send the workers unless you transfer more money to their Wells Fargo account.
There are probably about 40 other homeowners that also got scammed by this construction company! Projects that are not completed and work falling apart.BEWARE BECAUSE NOW HE IS HOME DYNAMICS! They are still taking advantage of seniors! People that have worked very hard to save and now have a total mess and aggravation in their brand new homes.
We really hope that this company will finish with satisfaction to all of us what they already got paid to do over a year ago!! It is really a shame how they can treat us like this.

By Scott F.November 8, 2022Remodel our home$90,000
We signed a contract in 2021 to modify/remodel our new home in Port St Lucie Valencia Grove. They started in the first week of April and we were verbally promised that they would have our home completed by the time we were to move in the 2nd week of August. It is now November and much if not most of home has not been completed. The quality of work done so far has been completely unacceptable and most needs to be torn out and redone. Our calls have been blocked by the contractor and the GM has done nothing but embarrass us with a disrespectful settlement offer. We have begged to have a meeting which the owners have no showed on several occasions. They have tried to intimidate us but that isn't going to happen. I would be willing to update this review if the job is completed to our level of approval. As of now, we are sitting with a portable kitchen sink and one powder room sink. Going on 7 months and our house is barely livable. I could never recommend this contractor.

We signed a contract in 2021 to modify/remodel my new home. They started in the first week of April and was promised they would be done 955 of the work by 7/1. Well, it is now the second week of September and there is not even 30% completed. The work is fair to extremely poor. They have till the end of the month to finish and make it right. I would like to update this review if the job is completed as promised.

By Iris R.September 3, 20222 kitchen remodels, closets and baths, outdoor kitchen.
LAWSUIT. This is the advice I received from PSL SHERIFF. Send a certified letter giving them 30 days to finish the project. After 30 days when you get no response, contact the police and have them charged with fraud. Report them to DPR, licensing, city building, etc.,
Anyone wishing to get together for a lawsuit, please contact me. [email protected]
They already lost a lawsuit from a homeowner in Verano. Good luck everyone. -
By Lis F.September 2, 2022Whole house, except bedrooms.$24,000
Mark and his team were wonderful. We used them to remodel pretty much our entire home. From start to finish, the process was easy.
Mark kept his word, and when we had questions he always had an answer and if he didn’t know he would find out and get back to us, he was VERY responsive to any messages we sent him. We always heard back within a few hours.
Mark and his team were respectful, cleaned up after themselves, and tried to keep the workspace as tidy as they could considering it was a construction zone.
My husband and I had agreed to do most of the demo to save on costs, but in the middle of it all my husband collapsed due to internal blood loss. Mark’s team came to my rescue and helped finish the demo and finished our remodel still in the time frame that he promised.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I recommend MKS for everything and to all my friends. -

I signed a contract back in 2021 for a complete remodeling of my new home being built by GL homes. I closed April 13th 2022 was promised the job would be done in 10 to 14 weeks. Now 17 weeks later the floor is laid, the lights and fans installed and two out of three shower doors installed. Here's what's not done: the kitchen, two wall units, the closets, the pantries, the laundry room, the dining area, basically nothing that was promised. At this point I would NOT recommend MKS for any project. I will post each and every week with up-dates on my job. Oh I forgot to mention MKS is sitting with $100K of my money wired into MKS Wells Fargo account. I am hoping to change my rating to a 5 plus if the job is completed as promised

By Deborah F.June 10, 2022Full wall of cabinets in garage
Paid $8,000. in January 2022 for built in cabinets in the garage. Promised in 2 weeks. Slew of text messages, with excuses then I guess they forgot what they said because then they said the cabinets were in but not delivered. Finally got cabinets that look like something in woodworking 101 could build. Waiting for the doors. Doors were delivered last week, plywood with thin white something on, peeling, chipped, sawed raggedly. Do not use this contractor the quality is poor, the promises are lies. You cant give less than a 1 star review, they should have a negative.

By Leslie O.February 28, 2022laundry room and closet remodel$20,000
Over promised, lots of sales puffing used, under delivered. Once they were paid deposit they disappeared. Hounded for months for a start dates and updates, no responses, did not provide insurance certificate or fully signed contract back. After months of chasing, finally sent material that didn't match, was damaged, and installed it damaged and created more damage to the space. Really horrible experience, super upsetting, felt taken. Refusing to refund monies.

Moved into my reno'd manufactured home 08/2024. Three days in and the sewer backed up into my tubs and sinks. The plumber we hired told us about his findings, that for some reason the new drain pipe had a series of elbows along the length of the system which caused material to get trapped. He also noted that someone had cleaned tools with chalking, paint and, whatever in the bathroom sinks which clearly explains why they were so slow to drain. The kickplates along the several of the cabinets were merely resting in place, no hardware, no nails, no nothing.
Week two, we decide to change the filter in the HVAC system. Once we removed the grate and old filter, it was clear that some genius decided it would be a good idea to sweep construction waste into the hole. Nails, chunks of broken wood and drywall waste were some of what we found.
Today, I'm unable to use my kitchen sink because (likely) the same genius did the plumbing and we have a steady stream of water squirting where it shouldn't.
Finally, the siding that was replaced because of unusual buckling, is, of course, buckling, not to mention that the job was not completed.
And to top it all off, Mr MKS Construction, LLC, had the balls to call me for money and when I didn't answer the phone, he sent his lover, Frank, to do his bidding.
Mr. MKS Construction, LLC and his 4-5 other business names are crooked, dishonest and, not to be trusted.
Don't do it.
