If your home warranty company is trying to send this company to your house, refuse their service. They lie about what they check on your HVAC unit and when you call them out on their lies, they refuse to come back fix the issue that should've been fixed in the first place. Stay far away, and do your own research before having an unskilled technician at your door!!!!

By Alex P.September 16, 2020Diagnose and repair AC$500
My home warranty sent me to MMAC to repair my AC. Nacho came out, and told me that the Condenser coil an Evaporator coil needed a major clean, and that they couldn't do anything else until they cleaned them. He collected the $75 trade fee, and left. I checked the condenser coil myself - it was pristine. It looked like it had been cleaned a month prior. What's more, Nacho *never had access* to the evaporator coil - but lied and said that it needed cleaning.
I had to argue with the home warranty company to get them to switch me to a new provider.
Never use these people. They lie. -

Horrible, horrible experience dealing with them, particularly Nacho! He installed a brand-new compressor on my AC unit, within a week I saw lots of oily residues coming out of the coil valves, so I called & texted him the pictures. He & his son came out, used some acids to cleanup the residues, he said it was the residues from the old unit, and that this SHOULDN'T happen again. Last week my AC stopped blowing out cold air, called him and he said that it's over a year so it's not covered. Wanted to charge me $85 just to come out and take a look at the mess he caused in the first place!! I had another company comes out to give me independent opinion, it turns out that the unit has been leaking refrigerant, it would cost almost $1500 to fill up 15 lbs of R22. I called Nacho's company, they said someone else has touched the unit so they won't come out because they don't want to be liable. Can you believe it? Nacho was already liable for doing a lousy job installing the compressor in the first place. I guess I'll have to wait to appear in small claims court and let a judge decide on the case. I have all pictures and previous communications to back me up. Run fast, don't hire this company to work on your unit!!!!

Horrible service! They (Nacho and Ignacio) completed half of the job (looked at only one of the two requested jobs) but were quick to collect the $75 trading fee. They acted as if they were doing me a favor by being there. They never even gave me a choice of which job is more important to do. Yikes!

Horrible experiences. Nacho came to my house 2 times for my furnace that was leaking water in my attic. He shows up and says I need to flip my evaporator coil so he has access to the panel to clean the drain but said he would come back and try to clear it with nitrous? He comes back with another guy and again he does absolutely nothing no investigation as to why it is leaking just said there is nothing he can do untill I flip my coil around and he can access the panel. After he left I looked into it and found that the condensation line was not sloped properly and could not drain so I run a new drain line and fixed the problem. He refused to even try to figure out what was wrong or he did not know what he was doing. Incompetent or lazy maybe both. If I was you I would never use this company for anything and don’t let your warranty company send them out because they are worthless and you might as well throw $75 in the trash. Nacho is not a good technician.
