Tevita Moa will take your money and not finish the job and not return your money.
5 weeks later and no concrete excavation and site not finished and he will not return any of the deposit because he said he did all the labor.
How can you do all the labor when the concrete was NEVER delivered or poured???He then did less than 10 hours worth of work and never returned to complete the job. It is now 6 weeks later and he stated he can not get concrete to complete the job but will be keeping entire deposit for his labor.
I had another contractor come out and the site work that was done is very poor quality. Per contract the pad was suppose to be 6inchs but the site work will only allow for 4inchs and it has a large hump in the middle that will only allow for 2inches. A clay based road base was used on which is not suitable for this project and it was only used covered about 75% of the area allowing for future issues of the concrete cracking and sinking.
I will have to spend extra money to have the clay base removed and the correct gravel used.
Significant damage was done to existing concrete drive way that will cost money to repair.
Rebar was never installed or delivered but he is charging us for it.

Tavita Moa promised to put a drain in before he poured (charged $2,000). He never put in the drain and we flooded (we paid$6,000 to get it fixed). He charged us for the pour ($8,000) and didn't put rebar down, two years later, it cracking and chipping in multiple places. Oh, may I mention, he never did the finish work, we have a huge footprint in the concrete (tacky).
