When Webb was hired on Dec 6 it was understood they were to be completed before May 1.
The deck was weathered but structurally sound. The pilings needed to be replaced.
One piling was broken and Webb claimed they needed to remove the deck to replace the pilings.
They built a new deck of exceptionally poor quality on top of the rotten pilings.
The pilings were supposed to go 4' into the sand. They replaced 2 pilings, one was only 2.5 feet deep and the other was 3.5 feet deep. They then hid the rotten pilings from the inspector with sand and then they outright lied when they told me the city would not allow them to replace more than 50% of the deck structure. When I called the inspector to examine these pilings he was not amused. So Webb’s unsupervised crew built the new deck on top of rotten pilings that had been in the ground approx 55 years. The railing on small part of the deck leaving the shower (approx 3.5' x 20') is not structurally sound. On the deck itself, are exposed screw points and elevated screw heads that are a cut hazard.
The stairs Webb built are not compliant with city code. They have only 2.5" of width on the stair stringers. Code requires a minimum of 3.5". Thus the steps are not safe.
The larger part of the deck he built is approx 8' x 12'. It is not square nor is it level. The deck is sinking into the sand because the pilings Webb put
under this deck section are only 18" deep (vs the required 4').Webb has lied in other areas as well. He claimed the city would not allow him to redo the deck to the south. He claimed "he couldn't get it past the city". In fact he never put this expansion on the permit when he assured me he had.
Webb also lied about the steps on the north side of the deck. They claimed they had to demolish them because the city inspector said they were "noncompliant". The city inspector told me they were in compliance and could be there because I owned the lot next to the steps.
Not one nail line or screw line is straight.
They sent an unqualified crew to my house to do the work. He gave them a key to my house for which I found out the later that “the leader” of this crew had recently gotten out jail.
They then sent another crew out to repair the sloppy work of the first. The second crew told me it was such a crumby job it needed to be torn down and completely rebuilt.
Please stay clear of this company, they are an LLC for a reason, to protect themselves.

Worst builder contractor in the entire world. Lied and took money. Doesn’t know the first thing about building a home. Going to court to hopefully revoke his contracting license
