I gave 3 stars due to time and poor communication. Started our agreement July 30 job finally completed ( only header replacement- Aug 26.

We have a rental property we wanted to get ready for sale. There was quite a bit of damage done by the last tenants. Mr Capps came in and helped us decide what was needed to get this house in ship shape. He pointed out damages we hadn’t even noticed, things that could have definitely affected the resale. He has a top notch personality and company. I will definitely use him again on future projects.

Being a first time home owner, was a bit scary for me! So much needed to be done, with so little time. Capps Construction was Highly recommend by my sister whom Capps Construction done her bathroom a few years back.. I personally didn’t know where to start. Capps Construction talked and walked me through EVERYTHING! Step by step, full of ideas and gave me lots of paint to choose from.. Needless to say I ABSOLUTELY love my 4 seasons room!! Would HIGHLY recommend! Thank you again Mr. Capps.

The floors in my older home we sagging really bad. Had a few contractors com out and give me estimates on fixing my floors. Capps construction was very well priced, and pleasant to deal with. They jack my whole flooring system and resupported it. I plan on calling them back for my sunroom later this summer!

Absolutely love it!! My grandma was redoing her bathroom, and was so confused, so I found Mr. Capps. He was full of ideas, very professional, flexible, worked around our schedules. Was done right on time.. We are very satisfied!

He took our money in August and then repeatedly lied to us about the materials being delivered and we find out that he never ordered them. We have framing and posts only. No deck. We can't get out our back door! He will not return our calls or texts. We asked for our money to be returned and have had no response. He is bad news.

Bathroom remodel
Our experience was horrible. Project started Nov 2017. Finally by May of 2018 we gave him a deadline and he never came back. 6 months later and still had no use of our bathroom. We had to have the bath gutted and paid another contractor to re do it. My counter was supposed to be granite w/undermount sinks.... it came in to short, the shower doors were supposedly broken in shipment the first time so we waited on that, then I ended up with marble counter. He was supposed to bring me a sample to look at and never did...just ordred a marble.top. Everything was always drawn out. They would sometimes not show up for days and weeks at a time. They were never on a regular schedule. The last straw was when the tile was all done...it was such poor workmanship it was actually embarrassing. Tiles were crooked not level or flush. They even made an attempt to fix the shower tiles when we said it was unacceptable and was still really bad. Floor grout was not mixed correctly so the grout had different coloration to it. The floor tile also was not adhered correctly and the grout cracked immediately. The shower doors wouldn't even close because they were out of plumb. I have filed a complaint with the attorney Generals office.

Contractor did a walk through and said he would submit a bid online. No bid was submitted. Also committed to a 12noon work timeframe and called the day of the job to say he took another job that would last days and would not be able to start my job. Unreliable. I took him seriously but he did not come through when he said he would.

Late , disorganized, poor follow up, and unprofessional

Very happy with my new flooring, paint and trim in my living and dining rooms, hallway, and especially love my totally remodeled bathroom. He pays attention to every detail. Will be using him again for the rest of my house.

New deck built and also made repairs to front porch. Quality workmanship and reasonable prices. Worked with requests to make customizations and changes. Responds promptly to calls/texts.

incomplete project, partially due to weather and delivery issues the work is progressihg very slowly.

Jody Capps stayed on top of his sub-contractors to make sure things were done properly. Roofing turned into house painting, removing and rebuilding patio and 4 season room, and adding new front porch. Very satisfied with all work done.
