There have been several issues from the very beginning of the project. He started back in December, and we still are not finished. I tried to not come to this point, but I have no choice now. The spackling job was horrible had to have him redo that and he still did not correct all the errors. The floor is a plank flooring that is to snap together, and some have spaces in them. The flooring he cut short and didn't reach to the wall, then filled in the gaps with caulk where he was short. The shower install was ok until he got to the caulk which is a horrible color gold with a brown and tan color wall. He claims it came with the shower, but I called the company, and they sent me the caulk to match, and it is nowhere near the color he used. He had told me that he didn't like the clear and thought this was better. When I said something, he said I misunderstood him. Where is this his decision. He did not ask us anything when things came up. Then we would see problems and tell him about it. He put the grab bar on backwards in the shower. He put a thicker board in instead of piece of molding on the inside of the door and it doesn't even cover the corner it needs to. He was to come back and put another coat or two of paint on the walls and change out the caulk and I have sent two messages asking when he would be coming back, and he is not even responding. He scratched the mirror when he put it in, and I had to order a new one to change out. I then saw a scratch on the light fixture also. When putting the cabinet in the corner he put a hole in the new drywall and had to repair that. It has been one thing after another. How do you rate these people you recommend? I'd like to know for the future whether I can even trust your recommendations. At this point I would like my money back or part of it to have someone come in who know what they are doing. My next step is to contact a small claims court or an attorney. I would really like to speak with someone from you company to rectify I situation before going future with my actions.
