Owner talks a good game. The quote was reasonable. Somewhere in the middle of the quotes I received. Project took 3 months longer than promised. Many oversights in construction. Poor quality products used. Heat pump noisy and stopped working just after warranty. Parts not available so had to replace it after just 5 years. Sub crews for this particular project were sloppy... found out after the fact that the addition roof was not flashed to the house correctly. Leaked from day one and solution was to caulk not fix the problem. Room sizes were not to spec, trim poorly installed with large gaps between trim and floor. Promised when 1/4 round was installed it would not be noticeable. 1/4 round never installed despite many calls. His structural engineer forgot to place the compressor so large pantry had to be made smaller to accommodate his error. His plumber made errors in installing a tankless water heater and ran piping under the house blocking easy access to crawl space. Grading of property after construction did not happen leaving water draining toward the foundation. Gutters installed improperly with the wrong size to maintain adequate drainage. I could not recommend this contractor with what I know now.
