    Kitchen

    The worse company I’ve ever dealt with, Kenny makes all these empty promises once he gets paid. We paid him for the job and he abandoned the work once he got paid. My cabinets were not leveled and you could see the old paint through the new paint. Kenny hardly ever answer his phone and when he does he keeps coming up with sorry excuses. I highly advise you do your research before hiring moken home improvement.

    Horrible experience I would never recommend this company for a job, lies, excuse and complete unprofessionalism. Took money of mine and no work was done. I wanted to support a black owned business but this company especially the owner has opened my eyes to the shady, get over contractors of the world.

    He came through on all my wishes . He finished my basement and it looks like a million dollars . Very professional and punctual ,and very knowledgeable. I would definatley recommend him for your next project .

    I lost my entire home to a fire last June. Although that was devastating, I would have to say, having Moken Home Improvement renovate my home has been a great pleasure. Extremely happy with my beautiful wood flooring, the tile work, my gorgeous kitchen, my relaxing bathrooms, the beautiful lighting, to the unique fireplace........... Every turn, makes me feel right at home & very happy that I used Moken!!!!

    I recently purchased a home in Baldwin, NY. The kitchen was dated and it was covered in wallpaper and carpet. I hired Kenny to remove the wallpaper from the kitchen, hallway and one bedroom as well as paint. He also updated my kitchen by installing new cabinets; running plumbing for the fridge. Once he removed the carpet in the hallway and bedroom, he sanded and treated my hardwood floors to their original beauty. Kenny and his workers did an awesome job! Thank you! ;)

    In August of 2011, my Freeport, NY home sustained damage from Hurricane Irene. We had approximately 4 feet of water on the 1st floor. After all the damage was repaired, furniture and other damaged items replaced, my home was hit again in October of 2012 by Hurricane Sandy. This time the damage was more than doubled. We had approximately 10 feet of water from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor. After dealing with the damage caused by Hurricane Irene, on my own, I knew that I would not be able to do the same after Hurricane Sandy. I hired a Public Adjuster to guide through this new disaster. My Public Adjuster recommended Moken Home Improvement. From the first moment that I met Kenneth Joseph (the head contractor} I felt comfortable and confident that things were going to be handled in a professional manner. Mr. Joseph sat down and went over the written estimate with me to make sure that we were both on the same page regarding all the work that was to be done, all the way down to the smallest detail. Mr. Joseph was also very accommodating when it came to any and all changes that were requested. I found the Moken Team to be a group of well trained professionals who worked very diligently throughout the entire time they worked in my home. I watched, in complete amazement, as Mr. Joseph and the Moken Team took the 1st and 2nd levels of my home, gutted them down to the frame work and masterfully created totally new living areas. From the garage, to the entrance way, to the den, to the livingroom and the kitchen the workmanship was extraordinary. The whole reconstruction project was completed in a timely manner very much to the satisfaction of me and my family. Thank you Moken Home Improvement.

    My Nassau County home was severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy(2 floors). Upon word of mouth, pictures of completed beautiful work and reasonable estimate by Moken Home Improvement, my husband and I decided to hire this contractor - Kenneth Joseph for our renovations. First task at hand was the first floor consisting of laundry room, garage, den, powder room and entryway. We gave Kenneth and team our vision from our first meeting and informed him we needed this completed as soon as possible due to being drained from going to laundromat every weekend. Not only was the job completed in a timely manner, the completed job is absolutely beautiful and the quality of the work is great. Kenneth made sure the work was done with perfection. Ensuring all work was done properly by his team. He would communicate with us on a daily basis to give us status of what was being done or could not be done for the day. Everyone that comes to the house raves about how beautiful the rooms look. Even so one of our friends contracted Moken to do work in their house. Kenneth and his team were very helpful and patient with us. Whatever I requested was done. There came a point in time where we changed our minds on the bathroom tiles, which by the way were already down. Kenneth not only went above and beyond to locate the tiles we wanted, it was done right away and with no objection when we requested the change. We were so pleased with the professionalism and work with Moken Home Improvement, they are now working on our second floor - Kitchen,living and dining rooms. Stay tuned for our review of our second floor, which so far is putting a smile on our faces.
