I have lived in my monogram home for 8 years. I love my home. There has been NO issues. This home is in the “affordable category”, the price and quality reflect this. This is a good first time buyer home. The materials are solid, not fancy; The value reflects the price and actually increased in value since purchase. I live in one of Monogram’s planned neighborhoods. My friendly neighbors are proud of their homes. We all feel safe and comfortable. There Is a neighborhood park we sometimes gather to. I would definitely recommend Monogram homes to anyone.

I should have had my head examined. The building I bought that I thought was a house, is crap. They use inferior materials , unskilled labor, and cut corners to save costs. I hate HATE HATE this building. I wish they would learn to be honest people and not just screw people out of the money they worked all their lives for. I waited a long time to buy a home OUTRIGHT, I wasted the money I saved for 12 years to buy this dump, I really hope monogram goes belly up, and they will if they continue with their practices. DO NOT buy from this dishonest business !

I purchased a new home from Monogram in 2010, here we are in 2015 and have had many problems with the home in a short amount of time. Monogram slaps their homes together as quickly as possible using the cheapest materials and contractors possible. There are still lumps under our carpet where they failed to sweep the floor before laying the carpet. There bubbles spanning the linoleum in the kitchen where they used a piece that had a fold in it. When someone was sent to repair the bubble, they slit the linoleum with a razor and now that spot is lifting and separating. The Formica around the kitchen sink was pieced together leaving seams where water has gone through and caused the particle board counter to swell. There are gaps between most baseboards and trim and the wall. Scrapes in the bathtubs where they threw all their scrap wood and nails and garbage while "cleaning up" before closing. There was a piece in the bathtub plumbing that was faulty and caused our bathroom tub upstairs to leak into the floor just after closing. Ther person who came to fix it gouged a divot into the shower insert and did a horrible caulking job. After this incident, I noticed there was a raised portion in the bathroom floor, possibly a swollen beam, they sent someone to check it out who denied there was a problem. Wooden back splashes in the bathrooms were not properly caulked and are starting to rot. All the sinks have leaked at some point and caused water damage to the cabinet below. The outdoor frost-free faucets have to be replaced already as there are faulty parts in the wall. I have spoken with neighbors and they are all experiencing similar issues. I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND purchasing a Monogram-built home. Take your money elsewhere.
