WARNING!!! Do not contract with this builder! I contracted with Montemayor Custom Homes for a complete custom remodel for the kitchen, pantry and laundry room in my historic home in San Antonio, November 2013. I paid the company $40K on a contract of $50K and they -
1. Walked off the job before completing it
2. Installed faulty, dangerous and non-code compliant materials for a new gas line that FAILED the city of San Antonio Inspection.
3. Installed a new load bearing support system in the attic that FAILED the city of San Antonio Inspection.
4. Installed new electrical that FAILED the city of San Antonio inspection.
The builder subsequently refused to resolve these issues and walked off the job.
