This Kitchen Remodel project started July 5th, 2021 with 5k deposit. My kitchen was dismantaled August 2, 2021. I was supposed to be completed by Aug 9th. It is now November 4th and all though i have had to contact CSLB David has not attempted to discuss a reasonable resolution. I'm coming to the conclusion that he practices this unethical behavior on a regular basis. Because he doesn't seem to be bothered that I've filed a formal complaint against him and is not trying to resolve the issue. At this point, I just want my money back for the terrible work. Beware of this company. Words of advice He won't offer you a detailed contract or a design. He won't give you a written plan that shows parts and labor costs. No measurement included. He doesn't warranty his work or product for not even 30 days. He askes for more than 10% down. I gave him 35% down which is illegal according to CSLB. He doesn't disclose your right to cancel in his contract nor does he provide the CSLB contact information. OOh also don't let him do anything outside of cabinet work. He pulled out my plumbing and now I have no running water. His subcontractor Warren does very sloppy work and don't clean up his mess. Ooh, he uses the cheapest quality of Quartz and wants to overcharge you for it. Most of all the shotty piece of paper you think is an estimate will then turn into a contract once its time to get started. Please read it carefully because everything you discuss verbally he doesn't write on that piece of paper. Don't let him tell you afterward oooh this is for my notes so I'll know what to order. I'll provide you with a detailed one later.. Because he won't.. This first piece of paper is your contract.. He lies terribly. Don't let him eyeball you a price.. you will pay dearly for his unprofessionalism. All I can say now is my Dream Kitchen has become a nightmare. Even though I have made so many compromises with David accepting things I didn't even ask for. (This is not the kitchen I asked for) I even agreed to pay more for countertops when I was told originally it would be included. No David walks off the job telling me he doesn't has enough money to finish. I need a lawyer.
