Hankey agreed to build a patio--charged us for materials and labor and disappeared without finishing the project. He damaged our neighbor's fence, promised to do repairs and never did that either. Left us with.a mess that required finding someone willing to finish what he started and for which we had to pay despite having paid him. For months, he kept texting he would finish and never met any promised agreement.

We had the same experience with this "contractor"! I left a review on another site as well as he was referred to us through Home Advisor. Total Scam. He was very diligent when coming to our property to assess and crate a proposal for a fence installation, he was very thorough with his proposal and detailed timeline. He then required a deposit for the materials and half the labor, came one day and dug a few holes and then disappeared completely. Left a mess of the yard and never responded to calls or texts for months. Home Advisor attempted to take action but got nowhere. An unfortunate lesson learned.
