I hired Mountain High Builders to work on a remodel and finish work on a new building. I then hired them for construction of a new duplex. They quoted me a price that was comparable to another builder. When the cost began to far exceed the bid by $80,000!!! I asked to see the invoices and itemized cost. The owner's reply and exact response was that "the customer is not supposed to know." With no direct answers or any logical explanation I was told "cost is cost." Then they actually blamed me for the extra expenses. They then told me it was because I was at the jobsite. I had only changed the appliances, Which was just a $2,900 difference. They certainly didn't treat me the same as other customers have described. I have lived in Bend 37 years, owned many properties. I have never been treated like this. I am leaving this review in hope to protect consumers. My review is 100% accurate & truthful.
