My 15-year-old 5ton Train HVAC system stopped working and was unrepairable. I went out for bids (four) to replace it. A Train, two Lennox and a Mountain Mechanical dealer provided bids. The Train and the Lennox estimates were higher than Mountain Mechanical's bid representing York HVAC. I researched the York unit as I wasn't familiar with the brand. I found they were listed in the top ten companies and were rated the best value. I also found that York had the highest SERE and best warrantee of the class of unit I wanted. Mountain Mechanical, in the middle of a heat wave, was able to move my appointment up, four installers showed up early and were able to the get the job done in one day. My new system works great and is much quieter.
