Kevin , Rodrigo and Bruno. A crew you can trust. Quote within my budget. Kept it. Popcorn removal, whole house paint, new Baseboards, New fans, smoke detectors, led lighting in hall, closets. Closet tear outs and rebuilds, new Doors, Awesome textured accent wall in Living Room. Wood laminate flooring in 3 bedrooms. Nice touches like all new outlet and switch plate covers. Pressure cleaned, sanded sidewalk( the right way to do it) new porcelain tile sidewalk. Covered my patio with textured silicon coating. Tile to my screen door..higher than door bottom. NO PROBLEM...just raise the door a touch. Real Professionals. While crew is there do not be afraid to ask about small jobs..Kevin will negotiate a FAIR price and add it to contract . We are in our 60’s. All moving of furniture and ALL large major materials picked up by crew. All furniture and junk taken by Kevin and Crew. We paid Dump fees and mileage. We are only five minutes from Dump site. Can’t imagine finding a more professional company. Kevin and crew were the nicest people. Even social distanced and wore masks. when the living room and master was worked on we stayed at a Best Western nearby. We gave the crew a door key and we never hesitated and were never worried!

Highly Recommend! We hired Mr Craftsman to remodel a kitchen in our older home. We needed help with design as well as the construction and they help with all. We expanded a small kitchen into our dream kitchen. We also just hired them to remodel a bathroom as well. Thanks for the great work

Our renovation was significant with the total cost running over $150K for labor, material, and finishes. We met with several contractors and received varying bids with Mr. Craftsman being the highest. The selling point being high-quality work and no nickel and diming on their part. Almost a year later, we truly regret our decision.
While this review could be a novel, our hope is that you have more information before jumping into any work arrangement with Mr. Craftsman, so we’ll try to capture some of the key experiences that have left us feeling as we do.
Communication was a big concern, from lack of communication, different communications received from Kevin and his partner John on certain repairs and how they should or couldn’t be done, to periods with little communication, and outright lying on the status of parts ordered, and experience level of sub-contractors used.
Lack of accountability on their part for damages while on the job site. While moving appliances and using equipment to break up the flooring, damages were done. As we were getting close to the end of the project list, we continued to ask for resolution, with Kevin changing his stance that they were not responsible. In the end, we had to engage an attorney which resulted in Kevin finally submitting a claim to have his insurance step in.
In a review of billing, not only did it call out the nickel and diming that was originally stated would not take place, but it also became huge debates when errors on their end were made. In the end, between the outstanding damages, accounting errors, lack of concrete updates on parts needed to complete work, Kevin chose to abandon the job.
Through the project and living in our home, we continue to find less than quality work. From having to hire another electrician to re-do panel upgrades with Kevin choosing to install a panel with no spare breaker (so too small for the size of the home), to misses on painting/trim/caulking, and an outdoor barbeque that is still not usable due to construction and lack of fire safety standards…this list can go on.
As Kevin’s tendency is to always have the last word, where his arrogance shows through and through, I have no doubt that he’ll debate that we didn’t pay in full. Bottom line is that in the end we were not willing to continue to pay until we were satisfied with the work and resolution of damages. Kevin chose to walk away instead.
One last call-out is to beware of the positive reviews you may read. After working with his team, there are many reviews posted by both his partner John Soba and well as some of the contractors he uses, causing questions to his work ethics and morals.
