  The warranty company hired them to come replace a wax ring under the toilet.

  $65

  My mother n law had a leak coming from under the toilet. The warranty company sent Mr. Smith's company out, and it was expected the wax ring needed to be replaced. The tech saw a couple of loose screws that he tightened and did not pull the toilet to check the ring because he said he did not feel it needed to be replaced. He left and when my elderly mother n law woke from a nap, the toilet had flooded into 3 bedrooms and the hallway. The next day the same tech pulled the toilet and admitted the ring had completely eroded away and should have been replaced. I submitted insurance claims details to Mr. Smith and asked that he cover the deductible, since the flood was caused by his tech not performing what he was hired to do. He called me a fraudster and a scam and was extremely rude. She has been displaced, living with us. Never met a business owner so harsh. Now my mother n law who is elderly and on fixed income has to pay with support from us, for the neglect of his staff. If you research him, he has a poor rating on BBB and has numerous complaints on several social media sites. RECOMMEND HE NOT BE USED.

  Such a horrible experience!!! :(
  Had to get my water heater fixed through my home warranty company - Select Home Warranty. They picked this vendor and the technician showed up a day earlier than the appointment date and diagnosed the issue. After that it was like Cat n mouse game. Lots of follow-up calls and texts with them. But no answer. When my warranty company told that they have sent the approval for the fix, they said that they haven't yet received any updates. Even the owner was not courteous enough to look into his mailbox to get the details and order the parts. Technician (Antonio) was super busy and didn't even bother to give a good customer satisfaction, even after texting and calling him on his personal number. So when your warranty company chooses Mr. Smith's Home Repair for any plumbing work, asap call the home warranty's customer care and request for a different vendor. Its been 3 weeks now and the water heater hasn't been fixed yet (have baby and kids at home). And today (05/16/2022) got a call from the owner and he said that he will look into it. The same response I got when I called him to his number last week. Stay away from them. Not at all recommended. Love to give 0 stars, but to post the review and I'm giving 1 star.

  this company was assigned by Choice Home warranty, they did not do the work even though Choice approved it. They are disorganized and their technician does not have a clue of what he is doing. They did a repair on another bathroom which broke two days later. They are terrible!

  Flaky. Came out for a home warranty claim which cost me $65 for the initial visit. Warranty company approved the repair and Mr. Smiths disappeared. Won't return my calls nor the call from the home warranty company.

  recommend Mr. Smiths Home Repair Service to my dog. They came out to troubleshoot a low water pressure problem in my house. Bottom line the Technician (Terry) was very professional but didn't seem to have a clue to what was causing the low water pressure. He asked for the services fee and i never heard from him or anyone from the company in reference to what was causing the problem. I called the company and the guy on phone was very unprofessional, rude and had no answers. I then tried to reach the Technician, who didn't answer and never returned my calls. So, i basically gave $85 dollars for the worst services i have ever received.
