Avoid Mr. Sunny Patios and the owner, Pastor Andre, also known as Andre Aragao. This company is highly unreliable, unprofessional, and delivers poor-quality work. Andre requests a 45% down payment to initiate a project, and he provides multiple justifications to continue receiving payments but does not exhibit the same level of commitment to the work, nor does he respond to your inquiries.
I engaged Andre, the owner of Mr. Sunny Patios, in a contractual agreement to undertake a $13,500 patio cover construction project. This project included concrete installation, a patio cover with cedar wood, and roof shingles. However, I've already paid $11,930, and only the concrete work has been completed. Even the concrete that was done is of extremely poor quality, displaying numerous cracks and unfinished portions. The concrete touching the ground is open, with gravel constantly coming out.
The project commenced at the end of March 2023, with the concrete work concluding in May. Since then, there has been no progress. Andre is unresponsive to texts and calls, and when he does reply, it's once every two weeks, accompanied by various excuses for delaying the project. In October, he ceased responding altogether, and neither work nor a refund is in sight. I'm actively seeking legal avenues to recover my money.
