My kitchen cabinets were installed in 2016/2017. As you all know I love my kitchen however,  these cabinets have been the bane of my kitchen existence since they were installed. Right away about 80% of them had to be replaced because they were weirdly wrinkling. Ever since then they’ve replaced one that the paint just kind of smeared right off, however, that one is a different shade of paint than the other ones. They replaced another warped pantry door. They had to replace the panel on the side of the pantry cause it just cracked to pieces. They’ve adjusted the hinges so many times because they don’t soft clothes, they don’t close at all.
So I have been dealing with this,  and other cabinet issues since 2017. In 2019 they were going to replace the other warped cabinet doors but then the pandemic hit. They had me send them pictures and measurements, I was told to be patient, and then I was ghosted.
Several months ago I put a very bad review on yelp, and they contacted me again. This time the lady sent someone out to repair the hinges (which actually made the much worse) and the guy took pictures of the warped cabinets. And then I was told be patient, be patient, be patient, and what do you know, ghosted again. However, prior to being ghosted. I was told well you know it’s been five years, that’s all normal wear and tear. First off it’s been since the beginning that I have told them about this, not just now, and second off  if warping is normal, wear and tear of expensive cabinets after five years…. need I finish that sentence!?!

- Building permit records show that MTD Kitchen has worked on 40 permitted projects.
WOW! This company sold us on Pental quartz countertops, charged us $25,000 to remodel our kitchen. They stopped showing up near the end of the install. I had to beg them to come finish the work. It took over a year and a half to complete! They never came to do the final walk through as stated on their website, and as promised during the sale.
The Pental quartz countertops began chipping before the kitchen was even finished. It chips away so easily. Ernie Lehman at MTD declined to fix it. He blamed the problem on us.
The cheapest Home Depot counter tops would be stronger that the very soft Pental quartz.
They do not honor their guarantee. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
I am now pursuing small claims, hoping to get our kitchen finished.
