My mother rented an apartment from Dan Mulkern for 5 years under the business Mulkern Roofing and Rentals. She always paid in advance and when she died in February she had prepaid over $5000 in rent. It has been 6 months and I have not been able to get any response from him or his attorney about refunding the money. I am a single mom and live out of state so it is very difficult for me to get up to PA to do anything about this. I cant believe that someone that has a successful business and claims to be an honorable person would do this. This has been such a painful time for me and the stress of this is the last thing I needed. Do not rent from this man!
