I contacted this company to repair my heating system. I started well.J.R. evaluated it and actually was able to start it. He recommended to replace a propane valve. He ordered it and Murphy came later to instal it. It took 30 - 40 min to replace the valve. I was very surprise when I got the bill. Valve cost $ 595 ( with special discount) and the charge was $ 80 dollars plus $30 trip charge for this replacement. When I questioned it I received the answer that valve is very expensive - and I received a special discount. I was not happy . later when I shared this experience with my friend ( who know more about heating systems) he was surprise as well and advised me to check on the price of the valve myself . I searched for the same valve and came with prices in the range $65 - $ 90 not $595 . I feel that this company cheated me with service charges ( not what J.R. told me ) and with price for valve.
I do not recommend this company. If you do not have any other choice as I did, ask to have a written estimate including their charges and fees.
