In the past--I have many helpful appointments from this long-time company,. And have sent in good reviews --however my most recent appointment--although the problem was dealt with in a positive way regarding a doorbell-it ended oddly.
I was told the amount to pay the electrician--and I gave him a check.
Then 2 days later--Received a call saying that the amount was not the correct amount due--That it did not cover the basic charge--and and that I owed for the actual amount due. I explained I simply paid was I was told was the due amount.
The person calling was adamant that more was due. I paid that amount--by a credit card--and they did not not even cash the initial check for 4-5 days later.
I was shocked at this strange way to do business. I have called them for many years for various jobs--but i do not expect i will again.
