My mother just purchased a warranty on a new home she purchased from American Home Shield. This was the 2nd contractor that was sent to her home for a simple ductwork replacement. When my mother called - she gave them the parts they had to bring which was supplied by a HVAC contractor. The person on the phone thanked her for providing them with this information so that they could avoid a 2nd trip. However, when the worker arrived - he did not have the parts and said he did not even bring a ladder! UNREAL!

This is the most unprofessional company I've ever had dealings with through AHS home warranty. Rude and unprofessional. Wouldn't answer any questions regarding our in-operable air conditioning unit. After a diagnosis there was no contact from the company for over two weeks as our family left numerous voicemails as did AHS. ASH is now filing a complaint on MW as is our family. After many calls they finally came out to make the repair and needless to say the AC is still not working properly. Beware.
