The major work of installing a fence in the backyard was completed in one day. Minor adjustments done very soon after. Beautiful job. Highly recommend My Way Construction for any fence work.

Our experience with My Way has been favorable.
They have done several projects over the years.
The first was new siding on our house. This was done in the time frame and cost quoted.
Subsequent projects ranged from repairing broken water pipes, installing new light fixtures and electrical outlets, flooring, among other jobs.
That said, it does not mean there were some issues.
The water pipes had to redone -- there was 2nd crack that was not noticed the first time around. My Way took care of it right away at no cost to us.
We feel comfortable working first with Manny then Karl in the jobs they have done for us.

Wasn't prepared to answer my questions. Said he had to talk to his father about setting up another appt. Father called and left message saying he would call back about setting another appt. It's been 48 hrs and I have not heard from him.
Response from My Way Construction February 28, 2020Just a misunderstanding/miscommunication, no more no less. No hard feelings . It’s not that I wasn’t prepared, it was that I was told to come see the job, however when I arrived, the project was completely different then what was explained to me over the phone. That happens sometimes. One thing I take pride in is , I never b.s. my customers. If it’s a project that is out of our scope of work I do not just say yes yes yes, no problem and just bs people. I asked my partner/father if he would like to go take a look at the project and gave the phone number to him. Somewhere along the line there was miscommunication at that next step. Again, no hard feelings, I with this person all the best. -

I have a one bedroom coop in Bayside Queens that I completely renovated...Kitchen, Bathroom, Floors, Crowne Molding, Painting. Manny & his crew were amazing. On completion, my apartment was picture perfect and Manny and Carl have the photos to back that up.They were honest and worked meticulously and in a timely fashion. I could not be happier and the work speaks volumes. I highly recommend My Way Construction.

I had been researching come contractors for a while. Approx 8 months or so as I was not in a rush. I was told about my way by my son in law who is an officer in the Queens area and has had work done by them.
What I had done was a remodel of an existing 1st floor bathroom. While getting that estimate I felt very comfortable with Karl and asked him to also quote me for fixi g and redoing my deck. Both prices given were very fair and comparable with any I had previously. It is always a red flag whenever someone gives a "too good to be true" low price. I researched the history of My Way and found a lot favorable reviews and satisfied customers.
He made it very easy to schedule a date to begin the work and provided a solid time time in which it would take to complete. During the job he was always reachable and involved and kept me up-to-date the whole way through. Both jobs work completed in a very fair time frame and I will say I was very impressed their work. I would absolutely use My Way construction again and would recommend anyone looking to have work of any kind done to speak with Karl before choosing any company.

We hired Manny and Karl Beyer from My Way Construction to remodel our bathroom. It was suppose to be one week job which took over a month. It was the only bathroom in the house. Manny and Karl failed to communicate with us and its subcontractors. They failed to contact Al, their "cabinet guy" who they claim they have worked with for years. As a result, the delivery of the vanity was delayed for a week. When they finally ordered the vanity, it was higher than the amount that was in their budget - they demanded that we pay the balance. When we refused to, the delivery of the vanity was delayed further. We did not believe that it was our fault that they under budget what the vanity would cost when there were no changes to the vanity we discussed to the vanity that was ordered especially since this is the "cabinet guy [they] had worked with for years on many projects". After the first couple of days, their guys did not work full days, they would come and go without notice, they wouldn't show up without notice. Manny and Karl never communicated with us about when and if their guys would show up. They never discussed with us about the design of the bathroom we wanted - I had to draw them a picture of what we wanted when their contract did not include the work we discussed and when we brought it to Manny's attention, his response was "I will take care of you, you will be happy". We were far from happy. After the work was almost complete, we were told they were not going to provide a linen closet after I told them on numerous occasion that a standing linen closet is to replace the area where the closet was to be removed. When they finally agreed to provide us a linen closet after the the work was complete, i attempted to contact them via text and telephone calls for 3 weeks. Within 3 weeks, we received 2 telephone calls that they were locating a linen closet, each time stating that it would be delivered at a certain time and it never came. After 3 weeks, they told us they would give us a credit of $400.00, which is not even sufficient to buy a linen closet. They severed their relationship with us after we expressed our disappointment and displeasure of their services. Within the month they were working on our bathroom, the sink they installed leaked, the handle to the shower broke, the shower head they installed fell and chipped the bathtub that they use silicone to cover up, the water in the tub backed up, and the faucet in the tub dripped water. After they severed their relationship with us and refused to do any further repairs, only after a couple of months, the grout around the tiles started to crack and come out, and the silicone started to stain and come off. we also noticed that the crowning were not properly installed because they are sticking out from the ceiling. We had to take out a second mortgage on the house to have the bathroom done and the bathroom literally started to fall apart within a couple of months. We are now trying to fix it up ourselves because we cannot afford to hire anyone else and although they refuse to come repair their unprofessional work, it is probably for the best since they probably won't do the repair properly.
Response from My Way Construction July 25, 2017This review is complete nonsense. I've never completed or promised to complete a bathroom on a week. Never happened. She ordered CUSTOM material which takes time to build and deliver. Not my fault. I was on communication with her every day and I have the 100s of text messages to probe that. Even the texts that she told me how happy she was because of the FREE upgraded drop in bathtub o gave her. She was so happy with the job until it was complete and she asked for a free linen closet. Linen closet was NEVER DISCUSED until the end.its not on the contract. But because I was trying to be nice I told her to keep the 1000 she owes me so she can buy whatever linen closet she wanted. Still that was not enough to satisfy her. Also she sleeps of a loan she took out to pay for the work. What does that have to do with me. I have no idea how or where the money comes from or what money she does or doesn't have. Then she says she needed repairs that the bathroom started falling apart . This makes zero sense. #1 she NEVER CALLED ME TO TELL me repairs were needed. Never not once. It's complete bogus review. And I have 100s of customers that will gladly TELL you how great we are to our customers. Licenses and bonded by the department of consumer affairs. And have a clean record with consumers with no complaints in almost 10 years in business. Unfortunately some people have nothing better to do and when they don't get there way they try and hurt people.
