    Patio and pergola backyard renovation

    Jason did a multi-step project of tearing down the deck, moving the A/C, re-sodding, pouring concrete, and building a pergola and a new set of stairs. While the bid was not the lowest I received, I immediately felt confident he could handle the complexity of our project and knew exactly how to execute. That peace of mind was worth some extra money, especially given the cost of the project. He communicated well and presented me with my options throughout the process. We made some adjustments along the way and he even did some extra work to ensure that rats weren't getting into our house - a real concern in Chicago! He was absolutely fair and the people he hired were great. I'm thrilled with the result and happy we worked together on it.

    Deck rebuilds

    MyGC reconstructed our front and rear decks. Jason provides superior customer service and attention to detail. When we were having trouble choosing a decking color, Jason offered to bring over several full-size boards from several manufacturers so we could have a better idea of how the deck will appear. During the reconstruction of the back deck, Jason provided an excellent idea for securing our property from the alley. He ensured that everything was up to code (not an easy task when working with a historic house) and that the end product was stunning. He would not accept money until he was certain that everything met our specifications. We couldn't be more pleased! We anticipate using him for other work on our property.
