    Bad experience. George says removal of columns and installing steel beam is easy. Ignored pipes in basement ceiling. Didn’t pull permit. Demanded payment after job. Crew had to cut steel beam to get around pipes. Had to put in another Lally column due to obstruction. Never use this company. George is a salesperson first, engineering is not important to him.

    Very bad experience with George Nader. He said he could draft architectural plans for an addition, and charged us $2500 to do so. He apparently is NOT a certified architect (but rather a structural engineer). He basically took a copy of a survey (that I provided) and made only the most rudimentary changes to it. He then submited it for permitting, and it came back rejected with a long list of deficiencies (13 to be exact). Worse yet, he reassured us that demolition could start before the permits were approved, and we had to urgently order him to stop when we consulted our town's construction department. He never refunded us the $2500, and the back of our house was torn up until we could find a new contractor. It was a very bad situation, but thank God we prevented him from ripping up our house any further.

    If you are going to do business with him, be sure to perform your due diligence. You should personally check out his office in Whippany. The state of his office, furniture, and file organization will help you determine his level of competence and professionalism.

    I became acquainted with George Nader and Lallygone in July of 2016 during a home remodeling project. Our project consisted of creating an "Open Concept" home which required the removal of load-bearing walls. Lallygone came highly recommended and they only exceeded any expectations that I had. George Nader personally came in to understand the objective and to present the options that were available to us. By the end our meeting, we had a plan in place. Lallygone managed that portion of the project with the precision of a surgeon. His crew delivered their portion of the project inside of two day expectation , allowing all of the other portions of the project to move ahead as planned. Today, Lallygone's "invisible" solution is allowing us to enjoy the "Open Concept" environment that we were looking for. I will recommend George and Lallygone because they delivered.

    Remove lally columns!

    Our experience with Lallygone was fabulous. We had them remove two columns in our basement which were very annoying and in the way of our remodeling plans. Our builder was not comfortable taking on this project and he suggested we call Lallygone. It only took them one day...they were clean and very professional. The change to our room is amazing. Highly recommend!

    I would not recommend LallyGone. George Nader owner of LallyGone workmanship is not of quality or of a fine craftsman. There are plenty of contractors that can do the same work for the same price or better than LallyGone. Buyer beware of LallyGone.
