Nailed It Contruction

I do not recommend working with Jeff Jones and his company. He did some work at my home and in process called and hired a subcontractor--Novak Htg to do some furnace vent cleanup. This was in July2019 and now it is Nov2019. He still has not paid Novak Htg and they have threatened to put a lien on my property if invoice is not paid. I did not hire them..Jeff Jones did and they had his contact info of doing so but since on my property I am responsible for invoice? This is not fair. I have made numerous phone calls and sent emails, texts to Jeff jones and when he does respond says he is on his way over to Novaks to pay. He never shows up and bill is still not paid. He wanted his money right away. If I had known he did not pay them before I paid him I would have subtracted amount from his payment but I TRUSTED him. apparently my mistake. Can't understand how a business owner can do this to someone. I am on limited income and I paid him and don't have more money to pay Novak. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NAILED IT CONSTRUCTION unless you want to get taken advantage of. Still waiting for his call back or proof of payment.

I have paid Jeff Jones for a job to install our new fence. He was paid half of the job. A week before he was supposed to begin work. We took out our old fence. The Thursday that he was supposed to start it was raining. He said he would reschedule it after it dried up a bit. I contacted him several times and he said that he was going to get here to get it done. My neighbors grew impatient and had a fence of their own put up. They did almost half of the job. Jeff then said that he would do the remainder of what was left for what we had already paid. He then stopped responding for awhile. When he finally responded he said he was going to pay another fence company to come finish it. When I called the other company they had never talked to him. I got the estimate from the other fence company and let him know what it was. He stopped responding again. Now he won’t respond to any of my communication. August of 2018 is when he was first hired. Check was given to him mid September 2018. It is now Mid April 2019. Over 7 months he has had my money and I still don’t have a fence!!
