I used this plumber for a broken toilet flange. I had the toilet pulled up already and started the flange extraction but it became more than I was comfortable handling.. called him on a sunday and he quoted me $250 to repair. He came out on Monday, so his promptness was exemplary, however after about a half hour working he told me he was charging me $500. I would have obviously shopped the job had he quoted me correctly. The flange was half removed by me and glued to a 3x3 standpipe which was glued into a 4x3 bushing which was glued to the 4 in drain pipe. The drain pipe and bushing were all ok so all he had to replace was about half of the flange which was glued to the outside of the 3x3 standpipe and the standpipe(just a piece of 3" PVC cut 3 inches long).. He did chip away at some of the 2 inch concrete around the flange, because the flange was on the outside of the standpipe, but in truth he could have just sectioned out the standpipe and the flange would have come with it, but he, like me, was unsure. He arrived at my house at 330pm and left at 600pm. He had to go to Home Depot to get a flange(not my fault he didn't have a flange on his truck.. he had a truck full of PVC which plumbers should have... this was not a strange part) he was at HD for 45minutes(again not my fault he didn't have the part)... so I am appreciative of his prompt response, but VERY disappointed at his price doubling after he had started the job..... This is a BAIT AND SWITCH marketing tactic, and I don't like getting raped. The job was still just replacing a toilet flange, and I would have certainly shopped at $500. He has a nice disposition, but probably has gotten away with too many such upcharging tactics. All I can do now is try to protect a future consumer in need from further BAIT and SWITCH tactics.

Todora Plumbing replaced two toilets in my home. They arrived on time, were very professional, and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Todora Plumbing.
