First, we would like to state I AM a real customer. If the owner of Natural Energy claims I am not, you are being mislead.
Second, I paid a total of $25,000.00 to Natural Energy to install solar on my home.
Third, unfortunately I found out that as of January 2017, this company has lost their Better Business Bureau accreditation. The following is a quote from the BBB website:
BBB Accreditation
On 01/17/2017 this company's accreditation in BBB was revoked by BBB's Board of Directors due to failure to participate in BBB arbitration despite pre-committing to do so, failure to respond to one or more customer complaints filed with the BBB, and unresolved complaint(s).
This business is not BBB accredited.

The parent company is owned by the same individual as several others, in various states, that have either closed or have bad ratings and complaints. Scroll down to see that the owner is the same.
BEWARE THIS COMPANY. Solar is great and I recommend it, but I would NEVER recommend this company. There are plenty of other company's to choose from. Do your homework.
OUR EXPERIENCE:
Like many others, we too have experienced issues with Natural Energy honoring their warranty.
Natural Energy's warranty on roof penetrations is 10 years. This is a big selling point for Natural Energy.
My system was installed in 2016. 3 months ago (December 2016), I noticed a roof leak in the ceiling of my newly remodeled kitchen. I immediately contacted a license roofing company AND Natural Energy to come out and determine the source of the leak. The leak was identified by the roofing company to be caused by missing and required secondary flashing on roof penetrations performed by Natural Energy, during their installation.
This was found on 2 roof penetrations. The Natural Energy rep onsite agreed with the roofer's diagnosis. Unfortunately, it took Natural energy over a month to come out and remove all conduits from my roof and to repair the improper installations. Additional damage was prevented by temporary repairs performed by the roofing company until Natural Energy could return.
Although Natural Energy did eventually repair their improper installation, they have to date (3 months later) refused to reimburse us the $500 I had to pay a licensed roofing company to identify the leak as an improper installation by Natural Energy. In addition, Natural Energy has refused to pay for the damage caused by their improper installation. The cost for the repairs to my ceiling are on us.
I had a second issue with the installation. Natural Energy installed unnecessary ground cabling resulting in holes in the side of my home. The Natural Energy rep also agreed that this was an improper installation. The cables have since been removed. However, I had to live with DUCT TAPE over the holes that existed, after the cabling was removed, for almost 3 weeks. It took numerous emails and phone calls just to get someone to come back out and make the repairs required following the removal.
As a final note:
The owner of the company just left our home. He said he was coming over to reimburse us for the roof work. When he arrived, he tried to tell us that he had obtained additional information from the roofer I paid to identify the source of the leak. This was simply untrue. I verified it with the roofer. The owner then said he would pay for the "extortion" at which time, I politely asked him to leave. It was obvious he had no intention of doing the right thing. His parting words to me and too my wife were - and this IS a direct quote - "F#@& You" as he stormed from my home.
I have photos and records of all dealings with Natural Energy. If you would like to see any of the documentation I have, I would be willing to invite you to my home to discuss the issues further and in more detail.
Beware of this company!!
