    FRAUD. We paid a deposit and never heard from him again. He won't respond to calls, texts, or emails. He took blueprints of our home as well. STAY AWAY.

    Where to start… Juan seemed very polite and energetic when we first met, had an engineer by his side and knew all the jargon of his trade… I actually had a good feeling and he assured me that his expertise would erect a structure, within budget, in no time. Then… nothing. Excuses started to flow, communication started to get scarce and my phone calls were rarely returned. After about a year of back and forth, I was finally given a design/plan. Mind you, this was an insurance rebuild so, our tight budget of $60,000 dollars was clearly stated at the beginning of the transaction… The design came to a staggering $178,275. Blaming inflating cost of material as well as “alleged” redesigns on my part (even though these were also discussed during the negotiating phase). I have reached out to Juan, the owner, to get a refund of my deposit but haven’t received a response, so as suggested by other contractors and friends, I am writing this review to warn anyone wanting to do business with NDB/Nuvation designs builders and Juan Hall.

    Cabinets Project

    Total fraud, stay away from this contractor. Paid him to construct a cabinet for our house in February 2022. One year later we still don't have a cabinet. The contractor (Juan Hall) took one of our bathroom drawers to supposedly match the stain of the cabinet and we haven't received the drawer to this date. He finally refunded us what we paid him but he wasted an entire year of our time. Untrustworthy and less than honest. His contractor license should be revoked.

    First, Juan Hall is a subject matter expert in his field. He has a passion to ensure his clients are extremely satisfied. I would recommend him to everyone & anyone. He's so easy to talk to and in turn he will explain the details needed to complete your project. He's a 10 ? star person on a scale of 1-5. Not to boast, but his craftsmanship is spot on! His pricing is NOT the cheapest but the quality you receive is worth every penny and some.
