ZERO INTEGRITY. STAY AWAY!! Willie (a very big man in his late 40's) came to repair my 84 year old mother's garage door in West Hartford. I arrived and asked first about replacing the springs, since that has happened to me several times (but I used Overhead Doors in West Hartford...who are reputable). I was informed that the drum was shot and needed to be replaced. I specifically asked if the springs needed to be replaced since I knew that can be problematic. I was informed that was not necessary. I trusted that the job would be completed properly and went about my other business. I returned later only to find that the door was extremely difficult to open and when it goes down it slams shut in a dangerous manner! I cannot believe that anyone would ever leave a door in an inoperable and UNSAFE condition. Willie was sent out again today to correct the problem and insists that he told us the springs were weak and needed to be replaced. This is totally untrue. Also, again, who would leave behind a dangerous door? It would have been better if the door had never been fixed. At least it could not go up or down at all and nobody could get hurt. Thankfully, we do not have small children around. They could be crushed! As you might imagine, there was absolutely no satisfaction when trying to resolve this with customer service. They just wanted us to spend more money to have the springs replaced. We don't TRUST them!!! Who would give them more money?
