For nearly 30 years, Scott and Mary Carlson have dedicated their lives to helping home
owners make the switch to clean and inexpensive solar electricity. With over 3,500 solar
electric systems under Scott’s contractor license, there are few within the industry that

We had a great experience with New Day Solar, the owner, Scott is very passionate and knowledgeable about the subject. They are a no pressure sales company and are family owned and operated; as a matter of fact, I got the contact information from my brother who used them 10 years earlier. He had great experience with them and was very appreciative of their subject knowledge because he had done a lot of research before moving forward.
They were able to provide a fairly accurate initial estimate over the phone using google earth, but they still wanted to visit the house to confirm and to inspect the roof before giving the quote. They took care of all city permits and So Cal Edison filings, they had it all installed in 3 days with no issues. The installation crew was also very knowledgeable and were happy to share with you what they were doing, they even invited me onto the roof to see how they were mounting everything. I did receive 3 quotes all for full purchase systems and they were also the lowest, I would have used them even if they weren't the lowest. The only hiccup we had was the sign on the electrical breaker panel had a small error on it, but our building inspector wouldn't let them pass. They brought out a new sign 2-3 days later, had the building inspector scheduled and sign off; received notice from So Cal Edison about 2 weeks later that I now had authorization to turn on the solar system. We've had zero issues so far from installation, we've had several strong wind storms and heavy rain storms with no leaks or loose panels.
