I had a horrible experience with my this builder. I gave him a down payment and he received the first draw from my bank. I constantly had to contact him because he was not building my house. After almost 2 years, he said he finally got the permits but I never saw them. He wanted to charge me a lot more to build my house when that was not what was agreed on in the contract and the appraisal. I told him that I couldn't pay him that and it was breach of contract on his part. I told him just to pay me my deposit and money for the draw from the bank. Then he ghosted me and never paid me back. I also got a court ordered judgement against him but he still has not paid me back and it's obvious has no intentions of paying me back. Do not hire this builder! He is a thief and a liar and extremely unprofessional!
