    Remodel of existing home and design build of new home

    My wife and I hired New Horizon Homes to build an expansion to our home in West Cobb. We decided on NHHs after interviewing 3 other contractors. Our decision was based on their understanding of the vision we presented while also providing design recommendations to the layout that greatly improved the flow and usability of the Floorplan. They were also helpful in recommending material selections that were within our budget. We were equally impressed by the tradesman that performed the build. They were professional and timely with their tasks. We were very impressed with the quality of workmanship and finish work. Our addition was completed on time and within the contracted budget. Could not have been more pleased. The best experience we have ever had with a home improvement contractor. We were so pleased with the experience, that when we decided to build our retirement home on Lake Nottely in the North GA mountains, we hired New Horizon Homes to design and build our dream home.

    BUYER BEWARE!!! We purchased a home from New Horizon Homes in 2015. We are still waiting for builder to make repairs that he agreed to make from the day of our closing date. We have signed agreements stating that the builder would make repairs, but he refuses to do so. He has made several trips to view needed repairs, but has failed to complete them. We are now one year in our home without the repairs and with things falling apart consistently. We were warned about him by neighbors after we moved in and we defended him as he appeared to be a stand up guy. Sadly our neighbors were right about him and we have been scorned by him as they were. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!!
