Just wanted to share with everyone who might be looking for paving work. DO NOT use New Phase Paving from Vacaville! They say they are good Christian people and talk a good show, but when it comes to doing good work or refunding money for work not done; you cannot depend on them!
I hired them about a little more that a year ago to do three (3) driveways, which they had to come back several times to fix what wasn't done correctly. I paid them an additional $100 to come back and fix a small area, but there was an obstacle in the way and we couldn't complete that small area till the obstacle was gone. Since then, with the obstacle issue (which was out of my control) and additional ground work and small construction issues, we have not been able to complete the extra work.
I called Brian for a refund of the $100, to which he said "ok, I'm out of town, give me a call in January or February to take care of the refund." I called him in January and left a message, no return call. I called him today (Tuesday) and talked to him, he was rude, and said "we finished the job, we came back a few time to fix issues." I said no, you have not done this part, I paid you for extra tar to fix the small area, but it was never done. His comment, "that wasn't my fault." So, with that, he said, "call me in a month or two, if I have it, I'll send it to you." I realize its been a while, but If the work was not done, then I should get my refund, Right!
DO NOT use New Phase Paving from Vacaville, CA!!
