New Tradition Homes began in 1987 with the Helmes family dream to build new homes of high quality, enduring design and lasting value. We named our company New Tradition Homes to demonstrate the combined excitement of building new lives, new memories, and new traditions in a new home. Today we are one of the largest homebuilders in Washington State, having built thousands of homes.
From the very beginning, we have been dedicated to personalized service and customer satisfaction. We recognize the flexibility needed to meet the ever-changing needs of our homebuyers. Our in-house design team is continually updating floor plans to make sure that our homes represent the best in new home design. We also offer personalization and customization on every home that we build.

They are pushy on upgrades before you have even decided to take the plunge, easily pushing you overbudget, with full knowledge of what your budget is. They flub what the quality if of particular materials, if not outright lie as well...pushing the items which give them the highest profit, not necessarily what is best for your needs. They also can't be bothered to get back to you anymore unless you have a starting budget of at least half a mill.

We had a home built through New Tradition Homes and moved in a few weeks ago. We have been very happy with the design and building process AND with the quality of work NTH provides. The process went very smoothly. The staff (especially Kelly Wade) communicated very well throughout the process, always responding to our questions and finding out answers from whoever was most knowledgeable. Kelly Wade went above and beyond to help us in a variety of situations. Jerai Laird in the design center was an excellent help as we navigated all the decisions we had to make. The job site construction supervisor, Mark Maunu, was also great to work with and helped us figure out many of the on-the-ground issues associated with the build.
We believe the quality of a New Tradition home exceeds that of most other builders. All of the subcontractors do excellent work and we have found very few touch ups or repairs needed. They take care to do things right the first time and we appreciated their attention to detail. We would highly recommend NTH as an excellent builder in the SW Washington or Tri-Cities area.
