Not recommended!!!
And ran into issues from the very beginning, until now after 6 months from ADU being completed.
- stopped answering and responding to any emails, as soon as we signed the contract.
- The foundation was a total mess, size of footing was not per plan, didn’t want to put dowel and they proceeded to only pour the footings, when checked on the concrete in the footings, they actually mixed it with dirt and pavers. Basically, put trash mixed with concrete. Pictures are attached.
- didn’t want to install the hardware spec’d out per plans, that they bid off of, I’m lucky that I know about construction and eventually had them install it.
- sent me change orders for scope that was already paid for and included in their base bid. And basically told me that if I don’t pay the extra charges, the work wouldn’t be completed.
- one week after finishing the unit, and before anyone moved in, the gas company inspected a gas leak inside the unit. That was back in March of this year, I emailed, texted and called, and they haven’t responded or sent anyone to check or fix the problem.
- the flooring they installed started coming of the floor. Again, email and call with no response.
- they finished the plaster and didn’t protect it or cover it, knowing it was going to rain the same day. Plaster finish was damaged the next day. And never fixed.
- now the compressor of the AC unit went out and I’ve been emailing, texting and calling these company and to no surprise… no response.
