By DeanAugust 23, 2018Plumbing repair - Drain pipe$200
Dishonest, liar, and a sad excuse for a human being! STAY AWAY or call the police on him. Hired Jae, Jared or whatever name he decides to go by to take care of a leaking drain pipe. He came in the next day (30min late) started work but in the process broke a supply line. Water flooded my house because he did not turn off main supply and then said he was going to go to his truck for supplies and LEFT... HE WOULD NOT RESPOND TO CALLS, TEXTS OR ANYTHING. I was left with water on 2 floors with ceilings furniture, floors and doors destroyed. PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS "PERSON". I had to hire someone else to fix his mess and now dealing with the clean up and rebuild..

By John M.August 8, 2018Tankless water heater replacement$450
I hired Jae to install a Takagi tankless water heater for a home in Flemington, NJ and paid him $450 in cash. The tankless water heater did not work so he said he would install a 40 gallon water heater tank and not charge us. I will put another review here if he keeps his word

JAE DUNCAN - NEXT LEVEL - BIGGEST SCAM ARTIST. Be aware! I wish I would have followed my instinct and also listened to the terrible reviews written about Jae. Dishonest, messy and does not complete the project. I hired him to replace a hot water heater. He left the old one behind, patched up a leak in the new one he installed and once paid never followed through with getting the permit and does not return phone calls. He also told me his credit card machine was broken and could only accept cash. COMPLETE SCAM ARTIST!!!!!!

I hired Jaren Duncan, also known as Jaren Pollard from Next Level Investments, Inc out of North Brunswick, NJ to remodel my house. He received a bank check on July 25, 2017 for $10,000 to start demolition. By September 16, 2017 the demolition was still not completed. The demolition team broke the stain glass window and some pipes, resulting in a leak. He was given cash to obtain the electrical permit, he never retrieved the permit although he said that he did. When the demolition crew left, I was missing my shop vacuum and a bathroom vanity.
I gave him a second chance and we renegotiated the price of remodeling the bathrooms. He started plumbing, paid $3, 500 to begin. He said that he had scheduled plumbing inspection with the city, was working closely with this plumber to do the work and that he was finished. He wanted the balance for the plumbing work but I said that we should wait until inspection. I called the city to find out about the plumbing inspection and the inspector said that he has never spoken to Jaren and that there is no inspection scheduled.
Jaren said that the house had settled and required reframing. We entered into a contract. Running low on cash, I asked him to charge the initial deposit to my credit card. He gave the credit card to his brother's company and they charged the entire amount to my card. I asked for a refund and never received it. He and his carpenter left the job and did not finish the framing. Yes, it is February 2018 and I am still renovating the house. Unreal. I had to pay a new plumber and a new carpenter to finish and correct his work.
