NK Construction and Design

We wanted to have our basement finished. It was bare, wooden beams with cement floor/walls. We searched for and interviewed a few contractors before turning to BuildZoom where we found NK Construction and Design Inc. We were impressed with the ratings that Nebo has; after reading the reviews and meeting him, we decided to work with him. Nebo is professional, fair, and honest. Cristian, Jose and the rest of his crew are diligent, hardworking employees who respected our home and our space. They did an excellent job with creating the space we were looking for and then some. The bathroom, the bar, the flooring, the walls and everything looks amazing! We would definitely again work with them on other projects and definitely recommend NK Construction and Design to others. In fact, my wife has already given a recommendation to someone. Thanks to BuildZoom, we found a great company!

I hired NK Construction to do a full remodel of my 1 bedroom condo. The project included kitchen demo including walls, completely new walls and flooring, and a brand new open plan kitchen including full plumbing and electrical work.

I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Nebo and his crew as my contractor. He and the team showed up promptly on time as promised - every.single.time! Communication was instantaneous and efficient, which I appreciated so much as someone new to the renovation process. He made sure all of the paperwork was completed thoroughly, including dealing with my sometimes challenging condo building. :) The work was all completed to a very high standard and he offered great guidance when selecting all of my materials and finishes. He managed the subcontractors adeptly as well. Again, I could not be happier with the finished result and I will be bringing him back on for my bathroom remodel. Thank you so much for my new home.

My experience working with NK Construction and Design was absolutely positive. They worked on two project for me, a kitchen and a bath remodel project. And I plan to contract with them for another bathroom project in the near future. They were professional every step of the way. From the initial visit, to reviewing the proposal/estimate, pulling permits, and project closeout they were responsive to addressing my questions in a polite and professional manner. Left my home in a clean and neat condition at the end of every day. They started the job on schedule and the price was reasonable compared to other contractors. I would highly recommend using them. I've worked with several contractors over the years, but there are only a few that I would recommend. NK Construction and Design is at the top of that list.

We have never really done any major home renovation projects until this one. And I have to say, given how many horror stories I have heard over the years from friends and family, we are thankful for the great experience that Nebo and his team provided.

What was expected to be a relatively simple project of replacing kitchen cabinets ended up becoming a bit more of a challenge when some surprises appeared. First, the team was able to pivot when one cabinet went missing in shipment (our cabinets came from a company in Germany). Then when securing the uppers, they also quickly tackled a problem they encountered, providing a secure solution, where we won’t be worrying (thank God).

The team was highly professional - they showed up on time daily, ready to work. They left the workspace clean daily. There was excellent communication throughout the process.

As we wait for the last cabinet to make its way stateside, they did not charge us for the whole job, leaving an amount from the quote to be paid once the whole job is completed. This was unexpected and I found it to be a great good faith measure since we don’t know when the cabinet will actually make it here.

We are thankful to have found NK Construction, and will certainly be working with them again beyond this project. I cannot recommend them enough based on our experience!

I am well please and satisfied with the great job provide by Nebo, NK Construction and Design, he is a great contractor because he’s always on time, from estimate until the job was completed. He gave me a time frame how long the job would take, explained every step and provide pictures. Nebo did an excellent job on clean. I would refer Nebo, NK Construction and Design company on your next project,
